DTPA-Sn
Reagent set to prepare 99m-Technetium-DTPA for diagnostic use This preparation is administered intravenously after labeling with sterile and non-pyrogenic solution of 99mTc-sodium pertechneciate. It is indicated for performing brain scintigraphy and dynamic kidney studies. With this study it is possible to quantify the total glomerular function and that of each kidney separately. In pathological processes involving glomerular function. Cerebral angioscintigraphy and cerebral scintigraphy, as an alternative method when computed tomography and/or magnetic resonance imaging are not available.
Presentation: Case with 5 kits (5 vials)
Each vial contains DTPA 20 mg, excl. q.s.p. 34 mg, sterile lyophilized powder for injection.
Conservation: Store between 2° and 8°C. Protect from light.
Unmarked Kit Shelf Life: 24 months.
Stability of the labeled kit: It is recommended to use the recently prepared radiopharmaceutical, before 4 hours of labeling.
